The Department of Commerce of Kongunadu Arts and Science College (KASC), Coimbatore recently organised a National Level Conference titled “Changing Contours of Indian Financial System”
S.Uma, Head, Dept. of Commerce welcomed the gathering. V.Balasubramaniam, Principal, (KASC), delivered the Inaugural Address. A.Vimala, Head, Dept of Extension & Career Guidance, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore delivered the Keynote Address. She narrated about the recent changes in Indian Financial System and its related job opportunities.
M.Revathi Bala, Chief Executive Officer (i/c), Kongunadu Arts and Science College, felicitated the gathering. M.Prakash, Assistant Professor, Dept of Commerce, Christ (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, chaired the technical session. He addressed the gathering about the rapidly growing banking sector in India and the future of banking with a presentation.
He highlighted the advancements that have taken place in the financial system as well as the growth of Internet Banking. He insisted the students to gain more knowledge in future banking aspects. Around 526 members participated and 107 papers were received and presented in the Technical session.
Participants from Various districts in Tamil Nadu actively participated and presented papers in the Conference.
