S.Sengoda Gounder Educational Trust along with the Shri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology organized a three day Agri Expo from January 4th to 6th, 2019 at its campus on the L&T Bypass road.
The first two days of the event featured an expo of technological innovations in Agriculture, Ko Pooja and Native livestock exhibition.
On January 6th, the final day of the festival saw Rekla Race. 200 mts and 300 mts race competition which began at 7.30 am where over 300 bull carts participated .The prize winners were given Gold coins worth 8gms , 6 gms and 4 gms as prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
The Director of Renaissance power products Pvt.Ltd, Rajkumar Armugam and Thangavelu, Correspondent, Shri Sakthi Engineering & Technology participated in the event.
Saravana Kumar, Chartered accountant and Deepan Thangavelu, Secretary, Shri Sakthi Engineering & Technology distributed the prizes at the valedictory function for the Rekla Race winners.
Over 10,000 people and the students from various colleges participated in the event.
