National Service Scheme in association with 2 TN (CTC) NCC, YRC, and RRC units of Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology organized the World AIDS Day Awareness Rally to promote the awareness of AIDS, among the public in Coimbatore.
The campaign was flagged off by Principal In-charge S. Jaganathan, Head of the Department, Electrical and Electronics Engineering of NGP ITECH. Senthil Rajan, AP/Civil, Chandrasekar, AP/Maths, Praveenkumar, AP/Physics, Dineshkumar, NSS Program Officer, Pradheesh NCC Officer and the 120 Volunteers of NSS, NCC, YRC, RRC of the college participated in this awareness rally.
S. Jaganathan in his speech addressed the importance of AIDS Awareness to the students and the public. The rally started at 10.30 am from SITRA Junction and ended at the NGP ITECH college entrance. Students used posters, slogans, and flex to create awareness in the public about the evil effects of HIV AIDS.
