TNAU VC Presents SISFS Grant to New Delhi Startup

The Agribusiness Incubation Society (ABIS), Technology Business Incubator at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), facilitated the disbursement of a Rs.20 Lakhs grant to the New Delhi-based startup, M/s.MORSURE PURE FOODS TECHNOLOGY LLP.

The funding, provided under the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS) by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, aims to support the startup in validating Proof of Concept, Prototype Development, and Product Trials. Following a rigorous screening process by the Incubation Society Management Committee (ISMC), MORSURE PURE FOODS TECHNOLOGY LLP. emerged as the chosen beneficiary.

The cheque was presented by V. Geethalakshmi, Vice-Chancellor of TNAU and President of ABIS, during a felicitation meeting attended by key figures including E. Somasundaram, Director of Agribusiness Development (ABD), and A.V. Gnansambandam, Executive Director & CEO of ABIS. This funding injection is expected to catalyze the startup’s business scale-up and contribute to the advancement of agricultural technology entrepreneurship.
