“Dr. Seshadri Sekhar Inspires PSG Tech Graduates at Graduation Ceremony”

The graduation ceremony for the undergraduate and postgraduate students of PSG College of Technology, specifically from the Electrical and allied stream, took place on Saturday, July 08, within the institute premises. The event was marked by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including the chief guest, Seshadri Sekhar, Director of IIT Palakkad, Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee of PSG & Sons Charitable Trust, Prakasan, Principal of PSG Tech, as well as Deans and Heads of PSG Institutions.

The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome address by Kanakaraj, Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), followed by the Principal’s address. The chief Guest delivered an inspiring speech during the award ceremony. He shared invaluable words of wisdom with the graduating students, instilling hope and enthusiasm in the young engineers as they embark on a new chapter in their careers.

A total of 783 students from various engineering branches, including Biomedical Engineering (BME), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Instrumentation and Control Engineering (ICE), Information Technology (IT), and Robotics and Automation Engineering (RAE), were awarded their degrees during the ceremony.

As part of the proceedings, the graduates recited a pledge after its initiation by the chairman. The ceremony culminated with the rendition of the national anthem, symbolizing the transition of the students into the next phase of their lives. The event was attended by approximately 2,500 individuals, including students, guests, parents, and faculty members of PSG Tech.
