ITF & BGMEA Delegation met Textile Entrepreneurs

Bangladesh is steadily increasing its share in all developed markets. It is moving towards its target of $50 billion in yearly exports and its vision is to achieve a $100 billion target in the coming years. To match such growing business volumes, Bangladesh needs more yarn and fabric imports. So, to explore more sourcing opportunities from Tamil Nadu, 6 delegates from Bangladesh Garments Executive Associations(BGMEA) visited and attended an exclusive interaction meeting with Indian Texpreneurs Federation(ITF) members. 85 textile entrepreneurs from TN participated in the meeting.

Prabhu Dhamodharan, Convenor and Srihari Balakrishnan, Board Member of ITF, Sonil Jain of Sowtex and Sanjay Kumar Naha, Co-Chairman, Standing Committee on Safety, S K Roy Dulal Chairman – Standing Committee On Trade License, BM Tanvir Chairman – Standing Committee on Crisis Management, Emdad Ul Haque Miazi – General Secretary, Arman Chowdhury – Sr Member and Rajesh Saha, Director – Sr Member of BGMEA were present in the meeting.
