Coimbatore Builders And Contractors Association (CEBACA), Kovai Kulangal Padhukaapu Amaippu, Residents Awareness Association of Coimbatore(RAAC), Association of Consulting Civil Engineers(ACCE) and Coimbatore District All Civil Engineers Association (CODCEA) jointly organised “Naneerai Thedi Kovai” – Rainwater Saving Awareness Conference at Race Course, Coimbatore Today.
Sekar Ragavan Director, Rain Centre, Chennai was the Chief Guest. Swaminathan, President-CEBACA gave the inaugural address. Manikandan, Coordinator, Kovai Kulangal Padhukaapu Amaippu introduced the Chief Guest and highlighted the Importance of Recharging Ground Water level.
The Chief Guest made a presentation on the methods to Harvest Rainwater like First Flush Arrangement and Recharge Well and its impacts on the Society.
He said analyzing the soil is important to set up Rain Water Harvesting. Suresh Kumar, President, CODCEA felicitated the Chief Guest. Premkumar, President- ACCE presented the Vote of Thanks. This event was held with the presence of Raveendran, Secretary- RAAC, and the other Contractors of the association.
