Over 500 nephrologists from six States took part at the four day national level 42nd annual conference of Indian Society of Nephrology, Southern Chapter (ISNSCCON) held under the aegis of Nephrology Association of Coimbatore on 11 Feb 2023. The meet focused on the latest treatment methodology for kidney ailments while specialists shared their experiences with the others on modernised line of management.
Coimbatore Police commissioner Balakrishnan, who inaugurated the conference by lighting the traditional lamp said that it’s heartening that this conference is being hosted in Coimbatore and greeted the participants and added that the State government scheme of ‘Makkalai Thedi Maruthuvam’ is a boon which has been received well among the people.
PG students and junior nephrologists besides research scholars submitted their reports at the conference. Also, participants took part at the ‘Interventional Nephrology’ direct workshop.
Nephrology Association of Coimbatore members Dr A Prabhakaran, Dr S Murugananth, Dr S Gowtham, Dr T Saravanan were among those who part of the event.
