CII recently conducted the NSDC-GIZ-CII Roadshow Apprenticeship Connect Workshop on “Strengthening skills ecosystem through Industry & Stakeholders” at Coimbatore. the main objective of this event was to connect and drive greater engagement amongst key skill stakeholders, learn about new Apprenticeship framework, enhance awareness about various schemes and initiatives, share best practices(Both international and from other associations) and to discuss table issues and challenges.
Participants of the event included Leading Industry Representatives, State Skill Development Mission, Local Industry Associations and Cluster Leads, officials from National Skill Developmental corporation (Ministry of Skill & Entrepreneurship), Principals from leading Academic Institutions and Representatives from Sector Skill Councils &Training Partners.
Dignitaries present on the dias were- M.Ramesh, Shah Jahan representing MSDE, CR Swaminathan, Surajit Roy representing NSDC and T.Narendran.
