Recently, The Association Inauguration of the Department of Chemistry- “CHEMCLUSTERS – 2018” was held at Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts & Science, premises. On behalf of Dr. K.Karunakaran, Principal & Secretary, SRCAS, the association was inaugurated by Dr. S.Deena, Vice-Principal and Dr. F.Hannah Revathy, Dean-School of Science & Humanities.
The chief guest on the occasion was Dr. Balu Easwaramoorthy Vice President, NCM USA, New York. The gathering was welcomed by Dr. T.Sasikala, Associate Prof & Head i/c, Department of Chemistry.
Addressing the gathering Dr. Balu Easwaramoorthy gave a lecture on the opportunities available for chemistry students both in India and abroad for higher education as well as placement in various fields. He also gave detailed idea about how to clear the various levels of examination to do higher education in abroad in various universities while stating the example of his own son. He also mentioned a word about Former US President Barack Obama, who joined Colombia University after a spending a short time at an Californian University.
