World Homeopathy Day celebrated

Coimbatore Homoeopathy Doctor’s Association celebrated World Homeopathy Day recently.

On the occasion, it honoured frontline warriors and underlined the value of homepathy. The association celebrates this day every year on April 10th on the occasion of the birth anniversary of a German physician Dr. Christian Fredrich Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of Homeopathy.

The celebrations were launched by Dr. A. Thamaraiselvan, Sr. Homoeopathy consultant, Vennila Homoeopathy Clinic.  Dr. M. Bala Ramalingam was honoured with the lifetime achievement award for his 50 years of service to homoeopathy.

“According to Homoeopathy, a disease can be cured by a material that can induce symptoms similar to the sickness itself, by using highly diluted doses of the natural ingredients.” says Dr. Dinesh Samuel and Dr. Parthiban Secretary, Coimbatore Homeopathy Doctor’s Association.

“Homoeopathic medicines stimulate the body’s immune system and strengthen the body to heal itself. A Homoeopath treats the patient as a ‘whole’, that is to say, he takes into consideration not only the physical ailments but also the mind, emotions, personality and heredity involved,” they added.
