Siruthuli celebrated its 15 years of its existence in style by joining hands with the ‘Coimbatore Cancer Foundation and GKNM Hospital.’ in celebrating Cancer Survivor’s Day which is observed on the first Sunday of June every year.
The event was graced by many cancer survivors. The Chief Guest for the event was Kanakalal Abaichand, Proprietor of TV brothers and Trustee of Siruthuli while the Guest of Honor was Vanitha Mohan, Managing Trustee of Siruthuli. Other people present were Dr. Latha, Trustee of CCF, Rani Sargunam- Chairman CCF and Balaji- Managing Trustee of CCF.
The cancer survivors shared their experiences of pain on the dais as part of the experience sharing agenda. Games and laughter therapy were also organized to bring smiles back on the faces of the cancer survivors.
