“DMK starts its own political analytical firm”

Whistleblower and leading Tamil media personality Shankar (popularly called ‘Savukku’ Shankar) shared on Sunday that the DMK has decided to ditch renowned political strategist Prasanth Kishore and starts its own political analytical firm.

In a series of tweets, he reported that his sources have said that the firm has been started under the name “Peninsular Research Operation Private Limited” (PROPL).

“While the initial decision of DMK to rope in Prasanth Kishore extended to 2024 polls, following their experience in working with PK for 2021 which created several problems inside the party, they have decided to start their own firm. The DMK also found it tough to pay the astounding fee demanded by PK as he insisted on payment only through legalised money,” the tweets read.

“The firm, named “Peninsular Research Operation Private Limited” has been started by the first family’s son in law Sabareesan. Sabareesan and one Shanmugasundaram are the directors in the firm. The firm functions from Mylapore and has already commenced its operations including influence in social media.”

“More than 70 employees who were working in iPAC for DMK in 2021 have been roped in for the DMK’s new firm. The firm apart from working for 2024 polls, will be organising DMK’s campaign for the urban local body polls too, add sources,” the tweets mentioned.
