CII Industrial Innovation Awards 2021
At the 8th CII Industrial Innovation Awards 2021, Kumaraguru College of Technology was announced the winner of the Top Innovative Research Institutions 2021 category.
Known for its unique innovative concepts, KCT introduced 4 of its products – eco-friendly sanitary napkins from natural fibre; low Weight Modified Jacquard for Handloom Weavers; autonomous Multifunctional Agricultural Robotic Platform and a fully automated AI patient monitoring Robot.
After defending their projects and their technicalities, this National honor has been bestowed upon the institution.
B.K.Krishnaraj Vanavarayar, Chairman, M.Balasubramaniam, Correspondent and Shankar Vanavarayar, Joint Correspondent, Kumaraguru Institutions appreciated the KCT team comprising educators, faculty members from R&D Team, IPR cell, IIC, Department IIC coordinators, Forge, RIG and KCIRI.
They said via a press release that it is an important milestone in the Innovation ecosystem of the Institution, and congratulated the Principal and the entire team of faculty members, students and all the coordinators.
