Japan’s Consul General appreciates Kumaraguru Institutions

During his visit to Coimbatore, the Consul General of Japan Taga Masayuki paid a visit to Kumaraguru Institutions. He came to know about the institution’s effort in facilitating students to learn Japanese language, and he was much appreciative of the effort taken by the college.

A press release from the Institutions mentioned that the visit was to explore the collaborative opportunities and exchanges between India and Japan in Culture, Education and Research.

“The Consul General highlighted the possible collaborations through JETRO to connect with Japanese industries. He extended support to initiate research activities involving Japanese Scientists working in the fields of human science, social science, and political science besides technology, and for their visit to industries in Coimbatore and to the campus for student interactions,” the press release further stated.

Shankar Vanavarayar, President, Kumaraguru Institutions underlined the launch of a Youth Exchange Program (YEP) between Japan and India, and he also assured his support and involvement of Kumaraguru Institutions in all Indo-Japanese initiatives from the city of Coimbatore and beyond.
