Kongunadu Arts and Science College Coimbatore signed a Memorandum of Understanding ( MoU) with Kongu Arts and Science College Erode on Wednesday.
A press release said that the primary aim of the MoU is to identify areas of academic collaborations for sharing of best academic practices prevailing among the teaching departments, use of Human Resources for sharing of expertise and visiting professorships, identify and work on research projects mutually agreeable, submit joint proposals to funding agencies, joint publications and books with equal contribution by both institutions, the conduct of periodic conferences/workshops both online and offline and organize a plethora of student-centric activities.
Further, the collaboration will be utilised for sharing and academic and administrative practices for mutual development. The MoU was signed by C.A. Vasuki, Secretary and Director, Kongunadu Arts and Science College , Coimbatore and N. Raman, Principal, Kongu Arts and Science College Erode.
Others present in the event were M.Lekeshmanaswamy, Principal Kongunadu Arts and Science College, S.R. Madhan Shankar, Dean-Academics and S. Mythili Dean of Computer Science from Kongunadu Arts and Science College and H.Vasudevan IQAC Coordinator, K.M. Kumaraguru, S.Nagarajan, A.K. Vidhya, B.Jayanthi, from Kongu Arts and Science College, Erode.
