Rotary Clubs have been creating a positive impact around the world for more than 100 years by their philanthropic contributions and activities.
Coimbatore has several Rotary Clubs doing lots of charity, and on October 23, Saturday Rotary E-Club of Coimbatore Pride was launched.
Rtn. Rajasekhar Srinivasan, District Governor, Rotary International District 3201 launched the club. Rtn.D.K.Karthikeyan is the Charter President of this club. Rtn.J.V.Choudry will act as the Club Advisor. Rtn.Ananth is the Secretary and Rtn.Rajaram is the Treasurer.
The Charter President conveyed that this is the 43rd club in Coimbatore, and since it is an E-Club, it can also have people from other districts and even overseas as its members. Right now there are 45 members, and by the end of Rotary Year in June 31, 2022, the club aims to have 100 members.
District Governor Rtn.Murugan, District Trainer A.V.Pathy, District Membership Development Chairman Rtn. C.T.Thiagarajan and other members of various Rotary Clubs took part in the launch of this club.
