A National Virtual Conference on “Modern Utilization of Smart Nanomaterials in Healthcare and Environment” was organized by the Department of Biotechnology, Karpagam Academy of Higher Education recently.
The opening session was addressed by Hemant Kumar Daima, Professor, Department of Biotechnology, Amity University, Rajasthan who delivered a thought-provoking speech on the implementation of Smart Nanomaterials in clinical and Environment fields.
Conference proceeding was released by the Registrar M. Palaniswamy followed by the Vote of thanks was offered by P. Rajiv, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology, KAHE. The opening ceremony of the conference was concluded with the national anthem.
Around 200 participants actively participated in the conference. Following the invited lectures delivered by Hemant Kumar Daima and Rajendra Kurapti, Associate Professor School of Engineering and Technology, University of Hyderabad, Telangana, the oral presentations and poster presentations by the presenters were led by the organizers.
The papers presented at the conference were quite informative and most valuable. The key challenges in the implementation of smart nanomaterials in the healthcare and environment discussed in the conference greatly enriched the participants.
