Rotary Club of Coimbatore – Sulur and Carmel Garden Public School have collaborated to plant one lakh trees in an effort to increase the green cover and quality of the city.
The inaugural of this initiative was held at Carmel Garden Public School campus. The tree-planting campaign was led by the Chief Guest Rtn. Sasikumar Sivasubramaniam, Charter President, RCC Sulur, along with other members of the club.
Fr.Jerome, Correspondent and Lilly Thomas, Principal, Carmel Garden Public School, honoured the guest. Saplings were planted in the School campus with the message, ‘Lets Plant Trees and Plant Hope for the Future’.
