The ‘Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Investigation’ for the year 2021 has been awarded to 152 police personnel.
Among the personnel receiving these awards, 15 are from CBI, 11 each from MP &Maharashtra Police, 10 from UP, 9 from Kerala & Rajasthan Police, 8 are from Tamil Nadu Police, 7 from Bihar, 6 each from Gujarat, Karnataka & Delhi Police. These include 28 women police officials.
The 8 Tamil Nadu Policemen are M Saravanan, Insp, A Anbarasi, W/Insp, P Kavitha, W/Insp. R Jayavel, Insp, K Kalaiselvi, W/Insp, G Manivannan, Insp, P R Chidambaramurugesan, Insp and C Kanmani, W/Insp.
