The Department of Bio-Technology of Dr.NGP Arts and Science College organized a Virtual Alumni Interaction on Monday to create an opportunity for the current set of students of the department to learn from their department’s Alumni.
The alumnus of the Department, S.L. Senthil Raja, Supervisor – EHS, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Invitrogen Biosciences India Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore, was the guest speaker on this occasion.
A press release from the college stated “the topic delivered was ‘Unleash your DNA’. It is indeed an essential part of science dealing with current job opportunities in the field of Biotechnology. The students were benefited from the topic since it was a part of their curriculum.” During the discussion session, the guest speaker answered the questions raised by the students and faculty.
He reiterated the points contributing towards Biotechnology. He also spent much of his time addressing various job opportunities. The gathering was felicitated by Chidambara Rajan, Head, Dept. of Biotechnology, Dr.NGP Arts and Science College.
