PSG iTech to widen research in power field

PSG iTech’s Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department and Padmavahini Transformers Pvt. Ltd., Coimbatore signed a MoU to collaborate for research in various dimensions of power industry.

This agreement covers research collaboration in the development of sustainable di-electric materials, high voltage engineering and power industry waste management, and facilitates internship and training for students and industry personnel.

College Principal Mohanram, pointed out that Industry-Institute Interaction is for mutual benefit, and betterment of society at large is a need for the hour.  Vathirajan, MD of Padmavahini mentioned during the MoU exchange event that the research team is currently developing cost effective materials for the transformer application.

Vice Principal Chandramohan thanked the industry experts for their interest towards the collaboration and motivated the faculty members to focus more on sponsored research.
