PSG Hospitals recently announced that it has introduced Hospital Secretary Course for interested candidates. This is a one-year course where the candidates will be given practical knowledge on how a supportive department in a hospital functions.
In the first six months, the candidates will learn the course in an experiential way and in the next six months, they will be provided paid-internships.
Today, hospitals across Coimbatore are in need of assistants to function as Out-Patient Department Secretaries, look after the Front-Office, work in Communications department etc., and this course will provide the candidates all the needed skills to work in the supportive departments. At the end of the program, course-certificates from the hospital will be provided.
Sources said that this course can provide a job opportunity with a starting salary of Rs.10,000 to Rs.12,000 in Tamil Nadu for the successful candidates.
PSG Hospitals said that any degree holder (be it arts, science or engineering) between the ages 25 and 30 can apply. The number of seats limited to this course is 25 and the last date for applying is by December 15, 2020.
