Well-painted classrooms prepares to welcome govt.school kids

Rotary India’s The Happy School Program aims to provide/upgrade the infrastructural and co-scholastic facilities in state funded schools, to make them secure, attractive and happy learning places for students and teachers.

Rotary Club of Kovaipudur selected Government Higher Secondary School, Kulathupalayam that is, funded by the State Government. Class rooms were painted 15 years back. The club chose the school’s ‘Kambar Block’ with 10 rooms and two floors for their project. Emulsion painting was done for the whole building inside and outside. Painting for doors and windows were also done.

The inauguration of the painted class rooms was done by Rtn Rajaratnam, District Chair – Happy school. AG Rtn C T Thiagarajan and GGR Rtn Sashikumar felicitated the gathering. Students would feel very happy when they come back to school after the pandemic gets over.
