Electrical Science Department of Adithya Institute of Technology, Coimbatore organized a webinar titled as “Bridging the Gap between Academics and Industry” recently.
Dr. K. Swaminathan, Head of FPGA & Medical devices, Jiva Sciences Pvt.Ltd., Bangalore was the Chief Guest. He conveyed to the gathering that Engineering Students should know the industrial activities of Production, Analysis & Marketing.
He highlighted to the students that the engineering world is gearing up in many domains, and in the near-future a greater number of them will be recruited for the research and production of medical equipment, especially. He stressed to them that they should improve their technical skills to meet the expectations of Industries.
Conference has been presided by Er. C. Sukumaran, Chairman of Adithya Institutions, Dr. Chithra Manohar, CEO & Dr. D. Somasundareswari, Principal were felicitating the gathering. Earlier, Dr. K. G. Parthiban, Head – Department of Electrical Sciences delivered the Welcome Address.
The function was organized by Prof. G. Vinoth and the faculty members, Students of Electrical Sciences department.
