KPR College of Arts Science and Research organised a virtual Career Guidance Programme for Higher Secondary Students (CBSE) titled ‘Vetriku Vidhai Iduvom’ on Sunday. The program was attended by more than 300 students. Three speakers addressed the students.
Renowned Orator Dr.Kavidasan, Director, Roots Industries India Limited, Coimbatore spoke on the topic ‘Towards Success’. He motivated the students to have a vision for their future. He also told the students to focus on Five Cs – Character, Courage, Competency, Commitment and Creativity. He conveyed them the importance of self-confidence and suggested how to utilize the adolescent age,handle failures and make use of the opportunities they get.
Dr.Xavier, Founding Director, IIM Ranchi spoke on the topic ‘Management for Gen-Next’. He conveyed the importance of youth which is the turning point in their lives. He spoke at large about the value that in-depth knowledge, attitude, life skills and habits adds in a person’s life.
Sriram Seshadri, Founder and Director, Disha Consulting spoke on the topic ‘Women in Management’. He shared the importance of women in business, administration and work life. He opened the discussion about gender inequality, inequality in wages, career and hindrance for women in the working environment, and presented the methods which other countries have adopted to address these pressures.
Earlier Dr.S.Balusamy, Principal, KPRCAS felicitated and welcomed the dignitaries and the gathering.
