Velammal Main School Mogappair Campus organised its first ever 35th Virtual Sports Fiesta – Dimension 2020 on Saturday at Velammal Nexus YouTube channel.
The sports day was dedicated to Padma Bhushan, Padmashri M.S.Dhoni. Dinesh Karthik, Indian Cricketer was the Guest of Honor. The program was held for an hour virtually and it was a fun-filled fest of energy and light. Several thousands of students participated and staged in various activities.
The virtual sports fiesta was an exact virtual replica of a real sports day celebration. The sports day activities and challenges were designed to abide by the social distancing rules. Students actively participated in an array of challenges including Baby Olympics, Push ups, Planks, Wall-sit, Snow Bowling and many more.
The school ensured that all the events were completed confined to their homes. All the winners were awarded. The fiesta continued with colourful culturals from the students which was an eye feast to the viewers. Quiz was one of the attractions as the first three callers with the right answers were given away Dhoni T-shirts. It was a lively day filled with enthusiasm and sportsmanship which attracted thousands of viewers.
