PM Modi leaves from Lucknow for Ayodhya visit; will lay foundation stone for Ram Temple

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Lucknow, UP and he is enroute to Ayodhya City where he will lay the foundation of the Ram Temple today (August 5).

The PM left for Ayodhya from Delhi at 9.30 a.m. and at 10.45 a.m. he reached Lucknow. He will travel in a helicopter to Ayodhya and first visit Hanumangarhi Temple where he will perform a special pooja.  At the auspicious time of 12.40 p.m. today he will lay the foundation stone in Ayodhya for Ram Temple. He will also plant a Parijaat sapling at the temple premises. 170 guests will be present. Among them more than 100 guests will be  gurus.

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adithyanath, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerath Kshetra Trust Chairman Nritya Gopal Das will be there at the Ground-breaking ceremony. BJP’s senior leaders L.K.Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi will witness the ceremony via video conferencing due to COVID-19 scenario.

Security at Ayodhya is beefed up and RAF Commandos are at the venue to offer maximum level security to the PM in this high-profile event.  November 9, 2019 was the day the Supreme Court of India declared the final judgment of Ayodhya Land  Dispute. August 5 will certainly be a historic day to remember.
