SKCET chosen as a nodal centre for Smart India Hackathon

Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (SKCET) has been chosen by the Ministry of Human Resource Development’s Innovation Cell and AICTE for hosting the Grand Finale of ‘Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2020’ for the fourth consecutive time.

It will be held during 1st to 3rd of August 2020. SKCET is chosen as one among the Top 40 nodal centres across India. This year, student participants, SIH coordinators and Industry evaluators are coming together on a digital platform designed to facilitate the implementation of the event seamlessly, managed centrally by MHRD’s Innovation Cell & AICTE.

For the said purpose, Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology was selected as one of the nodal centers to facilitate the SIH software edition operations and support to participants. Total 28 Number of teams having 164 Number of participants are competing against 06 Problem Statements from 02 Organizations given by Govt of Bihar and Department of Science and Technology. Each Problem statement has a winning amount of Rs 1 lakh.

Apart from these, 2 teams from Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology have been shortlisted to participate the Grand finale of Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2020 software edition in other nodal centres.
