Tamil Nadu Minister for Rural Development, Municipal Administration and Implementation of Special Programs, S.P.Velumani said on Monday that Door-to-Door Screening Scheme to identify those affected by COVID-19 has been inaugurated at Madurai.
155 Fever Centers will be used in this screening. 2285 Nurses, Sanitary Workers, Anganwadi Teachers and NGOs have been appointed to carry out this scheme effectively in Madurai. Madurai registered 16 new cases on Sunday and the total tally is 426.
