Sri Krishna Sweets’ Anna Dharma – A sweet surprise for less-privileged

Sri Krishna Sweets implemented a kitchen fresh guarantee procedure recently to ensure that its products reach the customers within 48 hours from the time of manufacturing. After that period, the products are returned to the production unit despite having longer shelf-time than that specified period.

This policy has been made to meet customers’ new safety & quality expectations that arose due to Corona.Despite utmost freshness, high-standards and longer expiry period, the products are removed after the 48 hour time limit. But to put them into use, the sweet-maker has introduced a noble initiative called Anna Dharma.

Under this scheme, the quality products with higher shelf-time will be collected by partnering NGOs, who will then distribute the items to the people who are less-privileged to consume such products.

The NGOs – No Food Waste, Universal Peace Foundation, Pandi Durga Saibaba Seva Maiyam and United Educational & Social Welfare Trust signed the MoU with Sri Krishna Sweets on Wednesday to deliver the delicacies to the deprived.
