With more than 1,50,000 people affected by Covid-19 (Corona virus) across the globe, the research for a vaccine is being underway in many countries. The United States of America is also in the quest to find a viable vaccine.
PTI reported a US Official saying that a experimental coronavirus vaccine will be evaluated on Monday. Around 45 young and healthy individuals will be given the vaccine to see whether the vaccine causes any side effects. If the vaccine proves to not produce worrying effects on the testers then the stage for large tests could be made. The vaccine is co-developed by National Institute of Health (NIH) and Biotech Company Moderna, Inc.
The trials will take place in Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute, Seattle.
