Engineering Export Promotion Council-India is organizing the 9th edition of International Engineering Sourcing Show in Coimbatore as a three day fair. It is being held in CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex. The inauguration was held on Wednesday.
400 national and international exhibitors from both small and medium level to top level are participating in this fair. Major players in all levels will not just actively participate in the event and showcase their technological strength but will also be sharing the best and contemporary manufacturing trends.
It was inaugurated by M.C. Sampath, Minister for Industries, P Benjamin, Minister for Rural Industries and MSME, TN Govt, Anup Wadhawan, Commerce Secretary, Dept of Commerce, Govt of India; Dr Rajendra Kumar, Principal Secretary to Government, MSME Department, TN Govt. and Azhar Taib, Deputy CEO, MARii( Malaysia Automotive, Robotics & IoT Institute)
‘Subcontracting’, ‘Industrial & Electrical Machinery’, ‘Metal and Shop Floor’ and ‘Innovation & Technology’ are the four broad theme of this edition of IESS, all of which are critical components of the engineering value chain.
Around 16 companies from Malaysia, 125 from Tamil Nadu, 41 companies from Partner State Pavilion (U.P.) ,25 from Haryana, 3 from Jharkhand, 10- Uttarakhand, 7-West Bengal, 6- Karnataka, 12 Himachal Pradesh, 15 from Madhya Pradesh have booked spaces along with a separate display pavilion from the respective State Governments. There would be 50 speakers across 10 Thematic Sessions, 500 delegates from 60 nations. The fair would be on till 6.3.2020.
