The Coimbatore Productivity Council which celebrated its Productivity Week held its valediction on 18.2.2020 at the Council Conference Hall.
The Prize Winners of the various competitions held during the week under the theme – Trends in Technology for Enhancing Productivity received the prizes from the Chief Guest of the Valediction Dharani Ranghanathen, MD, Perfect Group of Companies.
K.Muthukumar, President, CPC welcomed the gathering. Dr.S.Sudhakar, Vice President, CPC presented the details of the participants in each competition and guest lecture that were held during the week.
The Chief Guest in his address said “In my 14 years of experience I have been to various factories in Europe and US to study their production, HR, best practices, design and safety. When I saw all that and industries in our nation, I felt that we should not be behind them but be like them in quality and in many aspects.”
He said he wanted to make his employees feel the same drive and passion.
“I made my employees to move their mindsets from local to a global perspective. Today they bring their creative concepts to me.”
Talking to the audience directly, he said
“ascension is only possible if you look beyond boundaries.”
He said that 23 years back, he too was a graduate. But as time progressed, he mentioned that he found that stability and learning were the key factors that allows one to transform.
“As you grow older, never stop learning. Keep your mind open, so that you can learn new trends.
Working with next generation, he said understanding what they are expecting, and knowing how things are being processed in future and adapting that to the existing generation is the way forward.
A company’s vision should be understood by the employees. Core values are the guiding pillars for everybody to function effectively in order for the organization to excel, he emphasized.
He then gave away the prizes to the winners.
