The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Coimbatore Institute of Technology organized the 1st National Conference on Mathematical Modelling and Computation 2020 recently under the sponsorship of TEQIP III. It was held for two days.
The conference was inaugurated in the presence of Dr K.Marimuthu, Head of the Department and Dr T.Sridhar, senior Professor of the department and the staff advisors of Mechanical Engineering Association.
Mr.M.Karthikeyan, Staff advisor delivered the Welcome Address. Dr K.Marimtuhu, Professor and Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering delivered the Presidential address. Dr T Sridhar, Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering
rendered the Inaugural Address.
Dr M Velliangiri, Staff Advisor gave an overview of the conference and Mr D P Sam Solomon, Staff Advisor delivered the Vote of Thanks.The dignitaries released the proceedings of the conference which encompasses about 63 papers from various authors across Tamil Nadu.
Two Keynote addresses one by Dr T.Sridhar and other by Dr Shyam Prasad Rajasekaran, CEO, TwirlTact Technology Solutions Private Limited, Coimbatore enlightened the participants on Mathematical Modelling and its Significance and IoT in the field of Manufacturing respectively.
