Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore welcomed back over 100 alumni of class of 2000-2004 to the Alumni Reunion recently. The college provided an opportunity for the alumni to gather at the college campus to share their memories with fellow batch mates and their teachers.
The Alumni of the batch across the globe also joined the reunion through video conferencing. . The Principal of SREC Dr.N.R.Alamelu updated the alumni chapter activities and the contributions of alumnus towards the growth of the Institution.
Swathi Rohit, Chief Business Officer, SNR Sons Charitable Trust released the SREC Alumni Association magazine “Spotlight” and addressed the gathering.
She praised the alumni’s contribution towards the development of their Alma matter and emphasized to shape its future through the Association’s programs and Services.
The alumni honored their faculty as a token of gratitude. The 6th batch of SREC (1999-2003) instituted an endowment of Rs.3,00,000 towards the alumni activities of the institution.
