The Department of Chemical Engineering at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology organized a guest lecture on “Environmental Legislations” recently. This event was aimed at creating awareness among the students about the policies and legislations on environment. Dr.M.Dwarakanath, Former Member Secretary, DSTE & Former Member PPCC, Govt of Puducherry was the chief guest of the event. He shared his knowledge and experience with our students. He briefed on the existing policies and legislations on environment and pollution control. Dr.S.Ramachandran, Head of the Department, Dr.E.Nakkeeran, Guest Lecture coordinator, Members of Faculty and II B.Tech Chemical Engineering Students were present at the event.
