Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science’s School of Commerce organised an International symposium on Industrial Revolution 4.0 recently. 130 students and faculties from 10 different colleges in and around Coimbatore, participated in the symposium. Dr. Kandappan Balasubramanian, Senior Professor, Taylor’s University, Malaysia delivered the keynote address covering the gradual growth of industry, scope of current industrial revolution and industrial contribution towards economy.
Session II was “Industrial expectations from Gen Z leaders” handled by Dr.Sharan Shetty, Professor, Sahyadri College of Technology and Management, Mangalore. He explored the industrial revolution and its challenges. Session III was handled by Shyla Jency, Project Manager, Accenture. She explained the industrial innovative practices, requirements and application of AI in Industry Innovation. The session was informative and interactive. Certificates were distributed to all the participants.
