28th State SNA Biennial Conference ends on high note

Trained Nurses Association of India, Tamil Nadu Branch & KMCH College of Nursing jointly organized the 28th SNA Biennial Conference 2019 from 26 to 28th September 2019.

2000 students from 63 Nursing Colleges and School of Nursing from various parts of Tamil Nadu participated in the conference. The conference knowledge sessions and also featured a sports meet for the participating nursing colleges. The valedictory of the conference came to an end on 28.9.2019 at Dr.N.G.P Conference Center, Kalapatti.

Dr.Jayaseelan M.Devadasan , President, TNAI, Tamil Nadu branch presided over the function. Dr. Arun N. Palaniswami, Trustee, Kovai Medical Center Research and Educational Trust felicitated the gathering and wished that nursing students focus on their interest towards their future career.

The Guest of Honor Dr.Jaeny Kemp, National Vice President, South Region emphasized that student nurses must boost up their self-confidence by taking part in leadership building programs and become ready to take up the leadership roles in nursing.

Prof. Dr. S. Madhavi, Organizing Chairperson, Principal, KMCH College of Nursing thanked the delegates for their competitive sportsmanship spirit. Dr. Sridhar, Vice Principal, KMCH Institute of Health Sciences appreciated the delegates. The hosts KMCH College of Nursing won the throw ball championship. The overall championship trophy and cultural trophy were bagged by College of Nursing, Christian Medical College, Vellore.  The Sports Championship Trophy was won by PSG College of Nursing, Coimbatore.
