The flood in Nilgris caused by the incessant rains earlier this month has affected the normalcy of the people of region badly. Nilgris is in need of every possible assistance and the charitable trust – ND Foundation which is formed by the Promoters of Pricol Group of Companies to carry out its Corporate Social Responsibility activities has provided financial support to help the people get back to their normal lives.
The foundation has sponsored a Flood relief fund of Rs.5,00,000/- for erection of Temporary sheds at the disaster hit locations of Nilgiris. Vanitha Mohan, Trustee, ND Foundation and Chairman, Pricol handed over the cheque to Rajamani, Coimbatore District Collector. The trust also placed on record the excellent services rendered by the Nilgiris Collector during the recent disaster.
