The Library and Information Center of Kongunadu Arts and Science College conducted Library Orientation Program for the freshers of Under Graduate and Post Graduate Courses participated in this program from 24.7.19 to 6.8.19. The program was inaugurated by Dr.M.Lekeshmanasamy, Principal, KASC. Dr.R.Senthil Kumar, Librarian of the college provided instructions to the freshers during the orientation program.
The huge collection of newspapers, E-books, E-journals, E-database availability and access methods, comfortability and pleasure of reading the print newspapers, print books and other print resources were conveyed to the students. They were introduced to the importance of developing communication skills Dr. C.A.Vasuki, Secretary & Director, KASC spoke to the students about the importance of reading.
Information about the usage of Electronic Resources in the college was informed to them. The college barcoded identity card was distributed to all the freshers.
