SEEE Association honors stalwarts of Engineering Education

SEEE- Society for Engineering Education Enrichment Association held its 2018 National Awards Program at Dr. N.G.P Institute of Technology, Coimbatore on 20.7.2019. These awards are designed to honor individuals and institutions that have made a significant contribution to the improvement of engineering education.

The goal of the SEEE Awards program is to encourage more extensive support and recognition for enriching the engineering education in the college and universities by providing an opportunity for recognition of outstanding performance. An outcome of this program is to enhance the engineering education services for the students.

The Chief Guest  D.Nandakumar, Proprietor, Selvam Agencies, Coimbatore and Former President of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry honored the eminent Academicians with awards in two categories Individual (Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Award for Innovative Research, Best Engineering College young teacher Award and SIR CV Raman Award for Best Physics Teacher in Engineering College.) and an Institution Award (SEEE National Award for an top-performing Engineering College – Placement, Startups, Social Responsibility, Industry-Institute Interaction, Research and Development).

In this Vel Tech Multi Tech Dr.Rangarajan Dr.Sakunthala Engineering College received the best overall performance award, Dr. N.G.P Institute of technology received the Best Industry-Institute Interaction Award, Bannari Amman Institute of Technology won the Best Research And Development Award, Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College received the Best Social Responsibility award, Velammal Institute of Technology received the Best Placement Award, Kalasalingam Academy of Research & Education received the Best Startups Award.

SEEE recognized and elected the Eminent Academicians based on their contribution to the enrichment of engineering education, to take charge of chairman position to guide the various societies of SEEE.
