India enroute to become the world’s most populous country- UN

The World Population Prospects 2019: Highlights presents the main results of the 26th round of the  UN’s global population estimates and projections. The report includes updated population estimates from 1950 to the present for 235 countries or areas, based on detailed analyses of all available information about the relevant historical demographic trends.

As per the UN report, India will become the country with the most population as early as 2027.  The estimation says that in 2050, India’s elevation in population at that time will contribute to the world’s huge population which would approximately be a massive 9.7 Billion.

So in just 30 years there will be2 Billion more people in the world.  This rise is projected to come majorly from India, Nigeria and Pakistan followed by Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Indonesia, Egypt and the United States of America.

The report further states that India will approximately produce 273 million people to its population between now and 2050 while Nigeria will add 200 million to its share.
