6th Graduation Day at KPR Institute of Engineering & Technology

KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology (KPRIEnT) celebrated its 6th Graduation Day Ceremony for the graduated batch of B.E. and M.E recently.

G.Gopal Reddy, Member, UGC, New Delhi was the Chief Guest while J.Kumar, Registrar, Anna University, Chennai was the Guest of Honor. The Graduation Ceremony was presided over by K.P.Ramasamy, Chairman, KPR Group of Companies and KPR Charities.

P.Nataraj, Managing Director, KPRIEnT declared the graduation day open. K. Bommana Raja, Principal, KPRIEnT, welcomed the gathering.

The Guest of Honor, J.Kumar in his speech emphasized the importance of pedagogical approach and outcome based education. He stated that Tamil Nadu is moving from Power generation to power reliable State. He briefed about the importance of Artificial Intelligence, Machine language, Targeted Drug Delivery and other new arenas in Engineering and Technology.

The Chief Guest, G. Gopal Reddy congratulated the graduates and instructed them to  return and serve India if at all they wish to study in abroad. He imparted the young graduates to focus on informal education and learn from society. He emphasized on making India a sustainable nation by preserving natural resources for future generation. He concluded by stressing on how Engineering education transforms the Nation’s economy and educated the graduates to contribute to the development of the Nation.

After the Chief Guest’s  address, seven University rank holders were felicitated with medals for their outstanding academic performance on their individual study programs. The degree certificates were given to 490 UG ad 21 PG students.

The ceremony also witnessed the presence of A.M. Natarajan Chief Executive, KPRIEnT, A.K.Munnusamy, GM, KPRIEnT, Heads of various Departments, faculty members and parents.
