Indian Women will make a mark in the world-Swathy Rohit

Sri Ramakrishna Hospital organised International Women’s Day celebrations in a fantastic manner recently. The program was held in the auditorium. Swathy Rohit, Chief Business Officer, C.V.Ramkumar, Chief Executive Officer, SNR Sons Trust, N.R.Alamelu, Principal, Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College and Isaac Christian Moses, Medical Director, Sri Ramakrishna Hospital graced the occasion with their presence.

The celebrations were packed with the zeal to honor women. Following the special addresses from the dignitaries, prizes were distributed to the winner who competed in  various competitions held in connection with the event.

On the occasion Swathy Rohit conveyed that she feels really proud about the fact that SNR Sons Charitable Trust has 20,000 people as a part of their organization and they have 50-50 representation in admin roles or in student level. She said that she feels the biggest strength of women is their ability to hold the entire society together without expecting any reward.

She also stated that in the present time, men have started to support women and though it has long ways to go, it is a good start. Swathy highlighted that India, even in the past has had so many inspiring female personalities and she firmly expressed that Indian women are the strongest in the world and they will really make a mark in history. She concluded by saying “All the best to all the women, show the world what you can really do.”

N.R.Alamelu, conveyed that participating in this Women’s Day celebration amongst the women of medical fraternity was a great joy for her. She said the young women of today are extremely passionate and very aggressive in pursuing what to do with their lives. She wanted all the women to pursue their passions, do everything at their best, be bold and do what they want to do with good level of commitment and hence bring in a difference in the society.
