City witnesses Intl. Cycling Event

About 600 cyclists, some as young as 7-years old, men and women from across the country participated in the 6th Edition of Coimbatore’s premier cycling event MVS Coimbatore Criterium at Kari Motor Speedway.

The event turned out to be an enjoyable and challenging ride for the cyclists in the MVS Cycling Carnival 2019. The amateur, masters, elite and veterans from various parts of the country also tested their skills and stamina at the Kari Motor Speedway. Arjun Balu – Race Director, Thoufeeq Ahamed – Executive Director, PEEKAY Steels, Radhakrishnan – Tamil Nadu Cycling Association, Sanjay Balu – Chairman MVS Cycling Carnival and Charles Fabian – Director Operation, The Residency Towers were the Chief Guests present on the occasion.

This is the 6th Edition of MVS cycling carnival and was conducted by Pinnacle Sports & Welfare in association with Tamil Nadu Cycling Association.The cycling Event included many categories like professionals, amateur men, women, and kids, under 18, Masters Men & Masters Women above 40 and veterans above 55. The final round of the SCOTT XC Series was the MVS Enduro 2019.
