Kongunadu Arts & Science College (KASC) is conducting a Two-Day National Workshop on Conservation and Management Strategies of Native Cattle and Vulture from 24.1.2019 to 25.1.2019. The workshop is being organized by the Department of Zoology in association with the college’s Eco Club. The program is being held under the sponsorship from Disney Conservation Fund, Indian Science Congress Association, and Arulagam – a non-profit eco-conservation organization.
The event was held in the college’s Dr.Marrapa G.Aruchami Auditorium. Lekeshmanaswamy, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Zoology , KASC welcomed the gathering. C.A.Vasuki, Secretary & Director delivered the Presidential Address, K.Murugan, Vice-Chancellor, Thiruuvalluvar University, Vellore delivered the Inaugural Address. V.Balasubramaniam, Principal,KASC offered felicitation.
N.S.Manoharan, Regional Joint Director of Animal Husbandry, Udhagamandalam, The Nilgris delivered the Keynote Address. Prof. Venkatachalam of Zoology Dept. proposed the Vote of Thanks.
