World Blood Donors Day was celebrated by Western Ghats International School today (14.6.17). Dr. Sashi Kumaar Samraj, Secretary, presided over the function. Advisor of Blood Bank of ‘Indian Medical Association’ (IMA), Coimbatore Dr. R. Palanisamy was the Chief Guest.
The Chief Guest explained the importance of human blood, blood groups, rare groups, procedure of donating and saving blood, etc through projector to the students. Doctor clarified lot of doubts of the children. Students formed the slogan “DONATE BLOOD’ and made a pledge.
