SRCW distributes Paper Bags among the public

Change is necessary and how good it sounds when it syncs with nature. Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science for Women organized a “Mega Paper Bag Making”, an initiative programme towards eradication of Plastics, as a part of “Coimbatore Vizha”. With the support of the management and faculty, all the students went on a rally urging people to use paper bags.

The students distributed paper bags to the public and their enthusiastic participation in making numerous paper bags and selfless attitude of distributing those to the public shows how much these young minds are concerned about Mother Nature. The rally was flagged off by Swathy Rohit, Chief Business Officer, SNR Sons Charitable Trust.

K.Chitra, Principal, SRCW appreciated the efforts taken by students and said, she is very happy about it. About 36,850 Paper bags were distributed during the rally. The objective of the rally was to create awareness and to encourage the usage of other means rather than plastics.
