Vivekananda Institute of Management Studies celebrated the “Pongal Festival” on 10th January 2024. The Director Dr.A.Valarmathi, VIMS shared Pongal wishes with everyone. The celebration started with Jamab Drums on the College Premises. All the participants were in traditional dresses reflecting Tamil culture. Many competitions were conducted like Uriyadi, Kayir Iluthal, Pongal Vaithal, Tamil Kavithai, Bharathanatiyam, Debate, and Dance. This function reflected Traditional Tamil culture.
